We are seeking a talented individual to support our robust digital production team as we continue to expand into new client accounts. 

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex WordPress websites and Woo/eCommerce projects across a multitude of sectors, as well as the successful day-to-day management of client accounts supported by a dedicated client services team.   

What we’re looking for:

A self-organised person with great people skills who is comfortable working independently, as part of a team and directly with clients. Experience of remote working is a huge bonus as we’re a Hybrid workplace. 

You should have the ability to work to clear deadlines, while managing high quality technology production and overseeing the development process. You will be communicating directly with the directors and senior management on a regular basis.

The essentials – at least three years experience in digital project management and delivery, as well as time spent in an agency environment.

The ‘nice to haves’ – academic qualifications in a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the production team to deliver high quality web / digital projects. 
  • Summarising and relaying project status reports to both client services and clients directly. 
  • Engaging with clients as well as our internal design and development team to ensure project objectives are realistic and achievable within the timeframes and budgets allocated to the project.
  • Efficiently managing a helpdesk ticketing system for ongoing support and maintenance management. 
  • Ensuring that clear milestones are set, monitored and key activities and deadlines are always met.
  • Working with team leads to develop project documentation (project plans, business requirements, statements of works and budgets) to assist with the management of project delivery.
  • Supporting daily project standups and providing daily project status updates.
  • Coordinating both internal staff and external contractors for flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation with internal teams and third-party contractors.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Assisting client services in the production of quote and proposal creation.
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Reporting and escalating disputes to management as needed.
  • Successfully managing the relationship with a number of clients and stakeholders.
  • Performing risk assessments to minimise project overrun.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties / vendors.
  • Sourcing, evaluating and testing new external / remote third-party teams and freelancers.

The candidate should have:

  • A background in digital project management working on technology projects from initial briefing to delivery.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, PHP, WordPress and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Evidence of working with IT or support helpdesks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for technology and digital projects.
  • Creative flair and an innovative approach
  • 3 – 4 years experience and/or hands-on experience in project management in software development and web technologies.
  • Experience of quality assurance and testing.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Annual salary: £35,000 (up to £40,000 OTE)

Location: Hybrid (Office: Manchester, Greater Manchester)
